Good leader

Being a leader is not easy; you have to be a good servant and effective leader in the same time. Don't let ur affection ruin your performance.
You have to save your self first along with the company before u save ur surroundings without forgetting how to be a good person.

Both task and relationship oriented should be owned by the leaders. Standing firmly, strong and having guts to say 'NO' is basic terms when you're a leader! And being Charismatic leader doesn't mean you have no affection at all.
But, it is become your fault when your employees tend to work ineffectively. It simply defines that you're not good enough to be a leader.

In fact, ages don't reflect your maturitiy. The more u grow older the better ur self should be is just old rotten phrase. This pathetic leader that you're being now will gradually kill your self if you don't try to stop ineffective leading that you've been thru.

Be smart, firm, and (still) be you!

    i would add that i think a good leader has to communicate with their workers on 2 crucial areas

    1. how much they care about them as people and their challenges

    2. who they are as a person - i.e. the leader defines and explains their own values, personality traits, etc.

    Business is business, but it's the PERSONAL connection upon which a truly successful work environment is built

    The main danger of any leader is taking this for granted - never assume the person you are leading understands who you are and what you are about and what you care about based on actions alone

    it has to be verbally expressed
